Encouragement

So I was going through my Spelman E-mail and came across this:

Promise yourself to be strong so that nothing can disturb your peace of mind.

Look at the sunny side of everything and make your optimism come true.
Think only of the best, work only for the best, and expect only the best.
Forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future.
Give so much time to the improvement of yourself that you have no time to criticize others.
Live in the faith that the whole world is on your side so long as you are true to the best that is in you.
By Christian D. Larson

It was sent from the dean of first year students in an email detailing our participation in a Flash Mob. This is honestly what I needed to see. I feel like I spend so much time worrying about succeeding that I never actually have success in what I do. I think negatively all the time, so much that it impacts the way I see my family and friends. As from now on though, I do plan on moving forward in a positive light.
